American manufacturer of flash memory, SanDisk Corporation has announced the release of a new extremely high capacity micro SD card. The SD card is being touted as the world’s highest capacity microSD card by SanDisk.
The acclaimed storage space on the new microSD card is a jaw dropping 400 (GB) gigabytes. Named the SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I (industrial nomenclature) is certainly as technologically complex as the name. This card is compatible with all mobile phones offering said technology.
The SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I has 400 gigabytes of digital storage space. It has the ability to store up to 40 hours of full HD video.
It can transfer data at speeds of one hundred megabits per second (100 Mbps). To understand and comprehend this better, 100 Mbps of speed guarantees the user a transfer of 1200 pictures of say size 3.5 Mb each in under a minute via the USB 3.0 reading unit.
SanDisk is offering a limited time period 10 years warranty coverage on the UHS-I.
